Meet Karen VanDerWerff, MA LPC

Karen is a Licensed Professional Counselor in the state of Oregon and specializes in:

Education and Training

Karen received a Bachelor's degree (B.S.) in Elementary Education at Western Oregon University and a Master of Arts (M.A.) in Counseling from George Fox University. Major areas of course work included: counseling theories and techniques, relationship assessment, and human development. Karen has chosen to focus her continuing education on Children's Play Therapy, Parent-Child Interactive Therapy, Grief and Loss, Post-traumatic Stress Disorder, Anxiety and Depression.

Karen has worked with couples in private counseling and in group sessions in a local church body, and has facilitated discussions pertaining to family, marriage, and spirituality at numerous women's retreats.
